At Meghaa Modi Design Studio, we redefine spatial and experiential design at the highest level of luxury. With over two decades of international expertise, we create bespoke environments that transcend trends — spaces that evoke emotion, command presence, and embody timeless sophistication. Guided by sensitivity, sustainability, and a deep understanding of human experience, our design philosophy transforms every square foot into a work of art and intention. From luxury residences and flagship retail to immersive hospitality and cultural destinations, we craft experiences that feel effortless yet extraordinary, intimate yet iconic. Every project is a dialogue between innovation and heritage, form and feeling, realized through the lens of global design excellence.
For Anju Modi’s showcase at Lakmé Fashion Week 2024, the ramp became a study in quiet dialogue between space and couture. Inspired by the fluid grace of her bridal silhouettes, the design sought presence through subtlety — an atmosphere that revealed itself slowly, like light on fabric. Hues of green, cream, and soft undertones formed a landscape of calm neutrality, allowing each garment to breathe and command its own rhythm. The LED screen, the suspended frames, and the pathway we titled Transcendental Pathways came together in quiet orchestration — contemporary, zen, and weightless. It was less a stage and more a feeling: of serenity, movement, and balance suspended in time.
As keynote designers for the Rotunda installation at the San Diego Museum of Art’s Festival of Art Alive 2024, we were invited to interpret the theme of India through a contemporary lens. At the heart of the museum, our spatial narrative unfolded around an antique brass Kamdhenu, the sacred Indian cow — a symbol of abundance and grace, shipped from India to take its place as the centerpiece. From the upper balconies, flowers cascaded in gentle streams, evoking monsoon rains — a metaphor for renewal, celebration, and the arrival of positive energy. The Kamdhenu stood serene within a meditative garden, surrounded by tones of earth and gold, reflecting the spiritual energy and craftsmanship of India. Every material, texture, and form was considered — merging luxury spatial design with cultural depth and quiet emotion. The installation, titled ‘Kamadhenu’ became a sensory experience — a moment of stillness and reverence that resonated deeply with visitors and was recognized among the museum’s most memorable Rotunda designs.
We’ve had the privilege of collaborating with the world-renowned Spanish luxury porcelain brand, Lladró, for many consecutive years, designing the event decor and leading the brand activation for their exclusive festive season launches in India.
Each year, Lladró unveiled a new limited-edition spiritual masterpiece:
• Goddess Lakshmi
• Ram Darbar
• Lord Shiv
• Ram Lala
Our role was to create an atmosphere that elevated the luxury and spiritual essence of these handcrafted porcelain sculptures while aligning with Lladró’s signature aesthetic of refined elegance and European artistry.
Our event styling and floral design seamlessly blended into the opulent store interiors, never overpowering the pieces, but enhancing their divine presence through carefully curated décor.
A highlight of our association was the presence of Rosa Lladró, one of the founders and celebrated designers of the brand, who graced the event and personally appreciated our work.
These annual events have cemented our expertise in:
• Brand activations for luxury retail
• Event styling for high-end spiritual collections
• Luxury floral and decor solutions for heritage brands
We take pride in crafting decor that reflects understated elegance, cultural relevance, and timeless beauty—values that Lladró embodies in every creation.
Designing the Christmas décor for Tamara Coorg, Tamara Kodai, and O by Tamara in Trivandrum was a study in sustainability and sensorial beauty. In keeping with Tamara’s philosophy of mindful luxury, every element was crafted to feel alive — natural, tactile, and without trace of plastic. At O by Tamara, a living installation took shape in locally sourced Mokara orchids, their roots breathing within the frame of a sculptural Christmas tree.
In Kodai, the design unfolded in woven jute and cotton ropes intertwined with pinecones, echoing the textures of the surrounding hills.
For Coorg, the air carried the scent of coffee beans and red wool, delicately threaded into the frame like quiet berries of winter. Each space became an interpretation of festive warmth and regional soul, defined by restraint, sensitivity, and evolution in experiential design. Subtle, earthy, and timeless — the installations embodied the luxury of simplicity and the poetry of nature.
In an exclusive brand activation for AMPM at DLF Emporio, New Delhi, MEGHAA MODI DESIGN STUDIO was invited to conceptualize and curate a bespoke Ikebana experience that reflected the brand’s quiet sophistication and contemporary luxury.
Within the architectural calm of the AMPM flagship store, we designed a four-foot-wide Moribana landscape — an expansive floral installation that unfolded like a living artwork. The piece drew inspiration from Japanese Zen philosophy and Ikebana’s sculptural precision, crafted from the most exquisite seasonal blooms and refined natural materials. Its minimal structure and tonal harmony mirrored the Japanese-inspired silhouettes of AMPM’s couture collection, creating a seamless dialogue between fashion and floral art.
The experience culminated in an exclusive Ikebana demonstration for AMPM’s circle of high-net-worth patrons and design connoisseurs. Meghaa led guests through a live creation, illuminating the poetic relationship between light, texture, and floral form. Using video lighting and layered natural compositions, she revealed how movement, proportion, and negative space can transform flowers into a language of pure design.
The interactive session concluded with a Q&A and private engagement, where guests immersed themselves in the process and spirit of Ikebana. The response was extraordinary — the installation and demonstration not only elevated the in-store experience, but also inspired an atmosphere of artful curiosity that resonated with AMPM’s clientele.
Through this collaboration, MEGHAA MODI DESIGN STUDIO once again affirmed its position as a luxury experiential design studio — one that bridges art, retail, and emotion. Our work with haute couture brands like AMPM celebrates the convergence of brand storytelling, spatial artistry, and floral innovation, crafting experiences that remain both memorable and meaningful.
At MEGHAA MODI DESIGN STUDIO, we believe that celebration is an art form — a moment where design, emotion, and memory converge. For an intimate 50th birthday celebration at Amanbagh, Rajasthan, we curated an experience that embodied timeless elegance, restraint, and quiet grandeur.
Set against the architectural poetry of Amanbagh, the event was envisioned as a dinner for 32 distinguished guests, designed to reflect sophistication and harmony. The tablescape featured bespoke linens, hand-selected for their tactile luxury and tonal subtlety, and was complemented by minimal, sculptural floral compositions that echoed the serene beauty of the Rajasthani landscape.
Every element — from the spatial flow to the lighting and floral art direction — was orchestrated to create an immersive sensory experience. The result was an atmosphere of understated opulence, where guests were enveloped in a feeling of refinement and intimacy.
This event stands as a testament to our philosophy: that true luxury lies in emotion, detail, and design intelligence. Whether in a palace, a private home, or a contemporary space, MEGHAA MODI DESIGN STUDIO crafts experiences that are both artful and unforgettable.
