As the curtains rose at Lakme Fashion Week, the stage was set for an ethereal experience like no other. Inspired by Anju Modi’s mesmerizing collection, ‘Transcendental Pathways’ took us on a journey beyond the ordinary, where fashion and spirituality converged in perfect harmony. Drawing inspiration from the intricate details of Anju Modi’s designs, I envisioned a captivating scene of beach leaves gently swaying from above, while moss and Japanese elements adorned the backdrop. The fusion of tradition and edgy aesthetics in her collection resonated deeply with the tranquil ambiance I sought to create. Despite the challenges and the stress of bringing this vision to life, the end result was nothing short of breathtaking.

The decor, with its subtle elegance, seamlessly complemented the stunning garments without overshadowing their beauty. As the show unfolded, music filled the air, screens flickered with enchanting visuals, and each garment graced the runway like poetry in motion. Every viewer was transported to a state of awe and wonder, as if experiencing a dream-like journey to a higher dimension. ‘Transcendental Pathways’ was more than just a fashion show; it was a transcendent experience that left a lasting impression on everyone present. I am grateful to have been a part of this magical event, where fashion transcended boundaries and touched the soul.

For Art Alive 2024 at the San Diego Museum of Art, my installation celebrates the rich cultural tapestry of India, centered around the revered figure of the sacred cow, known as Kamadhenu. This symbol of prosperity, health, and abundance holds a pivotal place in Indian lore, emerging from the ocean during the mythical churning of the seas. In honoring this theme, my design incorporates antique brass sculptures of Kamadhenu and her calf, emblematic of nourishment and auspiciousness in Indian tradition.

The mother cow feeding her calf is not just a symbol of life’s sustenance, but a beacon of good health and abundance. Further accentuating the installation are exquisite brass urns, testament to India’s masterful craftsmanship. Overhead, a cascade of white flowers symbolizes rain, a harbinger of good fortune and divine blessings in Indian culture. This floral rainfall represents the outpouring of positive energy and love, a motif which extended throughout the San Diego Museum of Art.

As an artist, each piece I create is an extension of my soul, imbued with deep personal significance. This installation is no exception, aiming to engage all senses—sight, smell, touch—transcending mere visual appeal to offer a holistic sensory experience. Each visitor connected with this piece, sharing their emotions and experiences, making their visit a memorable one.

Participating in Art Alive is a profound honor, and I loved being part of the joy that Art Alive was. This opportunity to blend artistic expression with cultural homage was a true highlight of my career, and I am amazed by the impact it had on all.

We’ve had the privilege of collaborating with the world-renowned Spanish luxury porcelain brand, Lladró, for three consecutive years, designing the event decor and leading the brand activation for their exclusive festive season launches in India.

Each year, Lladró unveiled a new limited-edition spiritual masterpiece:
• Goddess Lakshmi
• Ram Darbar
• Lord Shiv

Our role was to create an atmosphere that elevated the luxury and spiritual essence of these handcrafted porcelain sculptures while aligning with Lladró’s signature aesthetic of refined elegance and European artistry.

Our event styling and floral design seamlessly blended into the opulent store interiors, never overpowering the pieces, but enhancing their divine presence through carefully curated décor.

A highlight of our association was the presence of Rosa Lladró, one of the founders and celebrated designers of the brand, who graced the event and personally appreciated our work.

We take pride in crafting decor that reflects understated elegance, cultural relevance, and timeless beauty—values that Lladró embodies in every creation.

As an artist it has been a fulfilling experience for me to create clever designs that are not only conservational but also stunning to look at. Inspired by the idea of using locally available material (e.g. : Tropical orchid plants in Trivandrum, coffee berries in Coorg & pine cones in Kodai) I’ve created these designs that are as close to nature as possible. Also, my design sense is always highly influenced by Ikebana, as you may see here in the rhythm and space of these arrangements. This Christmas, we said no to plastic, we said no to wastage! As an artist, I always choose to work with eco-friendly, plastic-free and sustainable elements. When I started working on this installation, with lots of live plants, weeks before Christmas, I knew I was creating something that can last even months after the festive season is over.

The joy of putting together this installation comes from knowing the fact that even when the decoration comes apart, most of the elements will find a place on this property where they will continue to thrive.

With lots of strings attached, the Christmas setup is for keeps! Here we created the decor with coconut and cotton rassis. Big log with pine cones and candles very aptly found their way into our Christmas setup for the buffet table.

We created the Xmas tree from several locally available live Orchid plants with roots. The photo booth too is designed with live plants.. With a generous use of Poinsettia plants, lots of baskets with green shoots, a little bit of wool wrapped triangles and lots of tea light candles – the decor is complete! All the decoration needs is a bit of care, as all plants do. The Christmas setup is as green as green can be! Okay, there is red too. Afterall, it is the holiday season.

Big red roses are my eternal favourite and they spell romance forever! Here I have used these gorgeous blooms to create a three-dimensional effect with the accessories.

The invitation by luxury brand AMPM for a demo of my work at the store couldn’t have met with a more wholehearted “yes.” ♥️✨

It’s always a joy to have an interactive and involved audience! Delighted to see a soaring level of interest in minimalistic designs and non-commercial floral arrangements. 💐

What a pleasure it was to present my floral creations at the charming AMPM store.

We were honoured to be a part of the grand launch of SkinLab, the renowned aesthetic clinic founded by celebrated dermatologist and cosmetologist Dr. Jamuna Pai.

Known for its commitment to skin excellence and trusted reputation across India, the clinic’s Bangalore debut was highly anticipated. The event was inaugurated by Mandira Bedi, adding a touch of glamour to an already spectacular occasion.

Our brief was to transform the clinic into a space that reflected luxury, elegance, and brand identity—with a strong emphasis on the signature orange logo color. Rising to the challenge, we designed a stunning floral experience that was far from ordinary.

Using premium orange tulips, imported berries, and lush hydrangeas, we curated a decor concept that flowed through the entire clinic:
• Floral ceiling installations that created a captivating visual impact.
• Treatment rooms, reception, facial areas, and waiting lounges transformed into spa-like environments.
• A complete shift from clinical to luxury wellness, offering guests a truly elevated experience.

Every guest was captivated by the transformation, describing it as a “never-seen-before” floral decor for a medical space. Dr. Jamuna Pai was delighted, and Rajati, founder of SkinLab Bangalore, deeply appreciated how we brought the brand’s vision to life.

This collaboration is a perfect example of how we use floral design as a tool for brand storytelling and visual identity, ensuring brand recall through flowers. For a brand that stands for trust, aesthetics, and premium service, our decor did more than just beautify the space—it created a sensory brand experience.
