We were honoured to be invited by FICCI FLO, a renowned nationwide collective of accomplished women, to conduct an exclusive festive décor demonstration. The brief was to showcase creative styling for Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi—two of India’s most beloved festivals.
Although the event took place during the COVID season and was conducted virtually, it drew a full quorum of 1,000 women from across the country. Remarkably, every single participant stayed online for the entire two-hour session—a testament to how engaging, practical, and inspiring the experience was.
Creative Festive Styling That Resonated
We collaborated with a talented décor partner – a curated store that offers a range of antique and contemporary festive pieces. Together, we created immersive, culturally-rooted styling concepts that struck a chord with the audience.
For Diwali, Meghaa demonstrated:

For Ganesh Chaturthi, the focus was on:

A Sell-Out Success
The impact of the session was immediate and widespread. Our décor partner’s entire collection was sold out within a week of the event, as attendees rushed to bring home the pieces we had styled and demonstrated live.
The session has continued to receive praise and is often referred to as one of the most memorable virtual festive décor workshops during the lockdown period.

We were thrilled when the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO)—a prestigious global network of high-achieving leaders—invited us to conduct a luxury table décor demonstration exclusively for their lady members. The brief was clear: to inspire these accomplished women with practical yet luxurious hosting ideas they could recreate at home.

Led by Meghaa, the session focused on how to elevate at-home entertaining through beautifully styled tablescapes. We showcased two distinct setups, each designed with intention, detail, and mood in mind:

A sophisticated, high-end table arrangement featuring:

• Layered textures and elegant floral arrangements

In contrast, our second setup celebrated light, freshness, and joy with:

The YPO ladies were fully engaged, absorbing each detail with enthusiasm. The demonstration offered not just inspiration, but practical table décor tips that were easy to implement at home while still achieving a luxury hospitality experience.
We enjoyed every moment of this vibrant, interactive session, and were delighted by the overwhelming response from the participants.
When Mr. Manoj Mathew, VP of Operations at Tamara, and a respected ex-Taj General Manager, approached us, the vision was bold and clear—to upskill the teams across Tamara resorts in floral design and styling. The goal was to bring international-level aesthetics in-house, making the team confident and capable of creating luxurious, sustainable floral experiences for their guests.

Even five years later, they continue to apply the exact design techniques and principles they learned from us.

At Tamara Coorg, which boasts abundant natural foliage and flowers, we trained the team to use their in-house flora and fauna for bespoke arrangements. This not only reduced environmental impact but also added an authentic, organic charm to the guest experience.
Department-Wide Integration
We trained the resort teams to seamlessly integrate floral design across various departments:
• Housekeeping: Floral styling for rooms and public spaces.
• Culinary Team: Enhancing buffet presentations with elegant natural arrangements.
• Restaurant Staff: Creating everyday and special occasion table florals.
• Gift Shop Managers: Styling merchandise, gift wrapping, and complete visual merchandising of the store.
We redesigned the entire gift shop layout, teaching staff how to refresh displays seasonally. They have continued to follow and evolve these ideas—year after year—with excellence.

This wasn’t just a one-time workshop. It was an enduring shift in how Tamara Resorts approach design and guest experience. Walking into any of the properties today, you’ll still see the elegant floral setups, sustainable practices, and refined aesthetics we taught being practiced with pride.
