Have you gotten inspired by that beautiful green and white wedding you have been to or that vibrant yellow and orange event you went to? Do you wish to have those textures or vibrancy at your home? Flowers are the answer to your wishes. You can change the mood of your space by adding flowers of your choice. Your mood can easily be projected into your space using flowers.
Here are 5 quick and easy flower arrangement steps you can follow which will make your arrangement look like a pro
and will reflect your mood:
Decide the mood you are going for. If you want something vibrant choose orange or yellow, for something romantic choose pink or purple, for something classy you can go with white and green . Try and limit yourself to 2 or 3 colours to create an impact with your arrangement. Choose flowers of different sizes and different textures to create depth in your arrangement.
Keep your vessel as simple as possible. For beginners, using a simple vessel will make the process of flower arrangement easier and less daunting. You can use a clear glass vase for this. It can be square or cylindrical. You can decide the height of the container as per your need. If it’s a dining table arrangement go for shorter vases and if you are doing it as a centrepiece you can go for either taller vases or shorter vases depending upon your mood.
Start putting in your main and larger flowers first. Put them in the vase in a circular manner with the stems crossing inside the container. Make sure not to trim the flowers too much. Keep measuring the height while cutting. You can always trim the flowers more but not add length to it. Space your flowers out properly and make sure they appear on all sides. We want our arrangement to look beautiful on all sides.
After creating the base you can now start adding the longer and shorter flowers to give your flower arrangement a little bit of height and depth. Make sure to add both the longer and shorter flowers evenly and not group them in areas.
The last step is to add in the greenery and complete your flower arrangement. The greenery can be both short and long, coming out from under the large flowers and in the middle of the arrangement. Keep adding until you’ve reached desired fullness.
1)Use filtered water to make your flowers last longer.
2) Clear all the leaves from the stems of leaves and flowers which go into the water.
3)Change your water every 2 days.
4)Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight.
